DAY FOUR
~ Jerkin' Around The Town! ~

...Oh, the things I saw...
Before you could say, 'Bob's your Uncle,' that great man creature gave a kick of his boot and the sticky bit was stuck like glue! And there I was, stuck right along with it!
Just when I thought I'd finally escaped from the can and the smelly world of garbage, here I was being dragged all through the town in a stop-go jerkin' truck by the man creature whose job it was to carry the garbage around with him all the day!
And the truck was a sty for starters, all covered in mold... like a furry carpet it was! Just between you and me, those molds are a creepy lot... always whispering about how easy it would be for them to take over the world just by multiplying to cover all of the decaying little bits left around by the man creatures... the utter conceit of it, REALLY!
But I'll tell you what, if it wasn't so disgusting, garbage would be down right fascinating! Why, it's another world!
Sometimes the light will hit some greasy little bit just right and it's like looking through a kaleidoscope! One could almost forget about being trapped here, forced to go wherever the winds of change send you. Perhaps it wouldn't be so dreadful if I were to look for the beauty amidst the bad. After all, it has been very interesting, and I've always said that to broaden the mind is to open doors to worlds once thought unattainable. Well, I suppose I didn't say it... but somebody did!
Still and all, there's no place like home, and I do miss the old gentleman. He was...
HORRIBLE HORRORS! The sticky bit moved! Whatever should I do?!! Slowly I turned to look at it... AND IT WAS LOOKING BACK!
What happened next I would never have believed, not in a million years! The little orange eye winked at me! Can you believe it?!! Not only did it wink at me, but it waggled its hairy little eyebrow and poked me in the ribs! The sticky little bit was a masher!
...I had to get away!...
So, with a prayer for strength on my lips and determination in my heart, I wrenched myself away from it with all of my might... flinging myself into further misadventure!
