DAY SIX
~ Sealed And Delivered! ~

...The things that happen...
There I was, freed from the hound hinney and catapulted through the air like something from a slingshot! But then I landed on the softest pile of flakes... like goose down it was! And the joy of being with other flakes again was overwhelming! Why, I was so happy I could've cried right there! But of course, when you're a flake that's something you must never do! It would turn you into an ice cube!
And do you know... I'd no sooner thought of ice cubes, when a great pile of them fell right out of the sky on top of me! Oh, the crushing indignity of it! But before I could sort myself out, a great big man creature came, scooped me up with all of the cubes, and put me right back into a big box on the sled! NO! I tell a lie... a 'cooler' is what the man creature called it. And I liked the sound of that... any flake would!
But it was a smelly sort of place, and the pointy bits on the cubes were uncomfortable. And sometimes I thought I could hear whispering! Once there was even a creepy little chuckle! There was something else in the box!
Oh, what could it be? If only I could see! It was pitch dark, but I could feel eyes in the darkness... watching me...
But then I thought, 'Get a hold of yourself, Sylvie! After all you're not really alone... THE CREATOR is everywhere, and He is everpresent with His children. And I'm absolutely nothing at all if I'm not a child of His creation. So... Buck-up, Old Girl!' I told myself. And I began to feel better... Sylvia P. Fflake wasn't going to be afraid of some creepy little bit, skulkin' about in the dark! Indeed not!
So, I started to hum a little tune... for company, you know... and before long the creepy little bits were humming, too! You know, they were quite good... and they really didn't seem as creepy anymore. I was becoming curious about them, but before I could find out any more, the sled stopped moving! We were there! But where was there?
Just then the box opened and the man creature dumped us out! And I began a fall into further misadventure...
