DAY SEVEN
~ Fire And Ice! ~

***

...It was a fall into another world...

Man creatures were standin' all about, dressed from head to toe in shaggy fur clothes! They were so covered up, that if not for the sound of their voices, I could never have told if they were male or female. And the language they were speakin'... why, it was like nothing I'd ever heard before!

Everyone was all excited and it looked as if they were preparing for some sort of party. But the things they were preparing to eat... what an awful mess! There were bits of fat and blood all over the ice!

Ice... it was then that I saw the ice. It was everywhere, carved into benches and tables... why, the entire place was made of ice! It was the most wonderful thing a flake had ever seen! And do you know what the man creatures did then? They melted great buckets of ice, and... using all of the cooler and bucket things in the place, they tossed it over the top of the big dome, and everything turned as clear as glass! You could see right through to the setting sun! It looked like a great ball of fire!

...But the best was yet to be...

Evening fell, and I simply cannot describe the unparalleled beauty of the night skies as they shimmered in the darkness above the igloo's dome... where vivid colors radiated across the heavens in The Dance Of The Northern Lights! It was as if the living PRESENCE of THE CREATOR was reaching out to embrace the entire world, and I shall never forget it for as long as I live! Oh, how can they deny Him when He is everywhere! It is unimaginable to me...

Anyway, the party went on long into the night. Just before daybreak, some of the man creatures started to leave, and I was so caught up in watching them that I didn't notice that one of them had picked up the cooler thing again and was coming my way. Suddenly he scooped us all up again... you know - me, the little cubes of ice, and the creepy little bits. Back onto the sled we went and we were off again!

This time we traveled so fast that it felt as if we were flying! I had just begun to hear the sound of waves breaking against a shoreline, when suddenly the sled hit an enormous bump and the cooler thing was airborne... with me in it! And once again I fell to misadventure...
